Originally used as the cover of "Through Wilderness" the incredible album by Mortuous. The main inspiration theme was the suggestion of Colin (guitar vocals of Mortuous) to view the wilderness as ones mind & go for a more hallucinating fever dream like image. The main figure is based on the "headless screaming" lyrics. I wanted to portray a figure trying to escape its world
