Chateau Duhart-Milon Pauillac 2015 070226CRISP or oak extractA more classical, structured counterpoint to the opulent 2009: the 2015 Duhart Milon is still primary, with plenty of cellaring upside. Owned by Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite), the estate is a Pauillac Fourth Growth located on the Milon hillside west of the Carruades plateau. 2015 was a warm, even vintage on the Left Bank, and Duhart's Cabernet heavy blend shows precision and freshness rather than weight.
